They are same network as I can connect in to ESXi directly from Vcenter client.

Is it a windows vcenter? If it is can you disable the firewall on the vcenter server and check again?

It is indeed Windows Vcenter but when checked , I can see firewall already disabled.

On esxi host,check /etc/opt/init.d/vmware-vpxa , and restart this servicCan you check logs, any specific message is coming??
