the biggest issue you will probably run into is vMotion problems.  To get around that, you'll need to enable EVC on the cluster.

EVC will allow you to vMotion between the two generation servers.  HA is has no CPU generation dependencies. see KB below too for baselines.http://kb.vmware.com/kb/1003212

it works after select syslogs port 514 or 1514 in firewall properties under security profile.
