is it a reoccurring issue ?, check the esxtop and if you have a valid support contract i would suggest contact VMware support to review the logs.

Thank you! Updated Information on VMware 6.7 Up3 support for EMULEX  LPe1150. I can confirm that I got VMware ESXi 6.7 Up3 working with these LPFC drivers.

As a test, I would disable write-back cache and see if it makes any difference. Your overall latency may be higher, but maybe there's something in that controller's microcode that is generating this.
