I've tried using the ISO in question within VMWare workstation and it works fine. So I tried another VM, just XP (with no change to the VM settings) and this boots up fine.
Is there a limitation to the IOS mount? Non working ISO is 3gig where as the one that did work was 500 Mb.
Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Hi you are using virtual CD Rom or physical cd rom ,I faced samed problem while using virtual cd rom ,then I burned image to disk and installed frm disk.problem solved.
