There are two way to get your vm boot from ISO.
1. Upload the iso file on any datastore and edit the vm and select the option datastore iso file then locate the iso uploaded.
2. Select the option host device in VM edit options. Make sure your host have cd/dvd drive and insert the boot cd/dvd.
Best ever recommended way is the 1st option.
