vmkfstools "Failed to open 'exch01_3.vmdk': Reached the host's limit for open files (40)"

Hi

We have trying to restore a Exchange VM from a BE vm backup files. We upload all the files to the datastore and the inventory the VM. When trying to power on the VM we got an error

Module DevicePowerOn power on failed. Unable to create virtual SCSI devie for scsi0:0.

VMware tech support helped/Showed me how to reformat the VMDK using VMKFstools and show in this KB

There are 4 drives and the cloning of the first 3 drive was successful but the last one failed with message "failed to open 'exch01_3.vmdk'. Reached the host's limit for open files(40)"

The environment is ESXi 4.1.0

Is there anyone out there that knows how I can get this last drive to clone properly?
