In my environment, there is a bridging Centos hosted in a Esxi4 server. Because the bridging not working, I spent two days and finally found out these security options on Esxi.
unfortunately, after checking out of the configuration, it seens the problem should not be here.
But here is the evidence: when I run nmap to spoof an mac which is not matching the default one, It reflects that network to the server had been down for seconds. Also the other end in the bridge which is a TAP interface works fine.
I have try bridging in a server host in vmworkstation and everything works fine. So the problem must be on the Esxi server, right?
