A few more details about what we are trying to achieve. Currently, the person is using the flat file directly, which is about 2 years behind and is missing files people created since that time. He gave me a list of files people want back if that is even possible. Veeam says it last backed up successfully on 6/6/2014, so maybe I can try a recovery on the Veeam machine, it is a standalone Windows 7 machine formatted NTFS.
